Absolutely phenomenal experience at Color of Birds. Nadia is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and clearly cares deeply about matching each bird with the right family. She took the time to answer all of our questions and helped us make an excellent, well-informed choice. Highly recommended.

We had such a wonderful experience getting our pineapple conure! Thank you so much for being so kind and patient, especially with my kids when we came to pick up our bird. You made the entire process feel easy and comfortable, and we really appreciated how accommodating and helpful you were every step of the way. Our conure is absolutely amazing—so well socialized, healthy, and already such a great addition to our home. It’s clear how much care and attention you put into raising your birds. We’re truly grateful and would highly recommend you to anyone looking for a happy, well-cared-for bird!

We recently lost our elderly cockatiel and couldn’t handle the silence. We were looking for an Indian Ringneck and fell in love through pictures with a bird on her website. We had gone to other shops previously, but her store was by far a better experience. You can tell she loves and takes great care of all of the birds in her care. She immediately made us feel welcome in her store and let us love on our future bird as well as others. We’re thrilled she entrusted us with the most gorgeous Violet Cleartail Indian Ringneck we’ve ever seen. It was well worth the hour drive to get there. Our home is filled with the noises we missed and new sounds, too!

We just took home a bird from here and had a great experience! We traveled here from Philadelphia. Nadia is very helpful and made sure we left with everything we needed. Our little guy was recently weaned, and she made sure I had formula & knew how to feed him if he needed it. Their bird seed blend is much healthier & fresher than some of the other seed you can buy at pet stores. The birds in the store are absolutely beautiful and very healthy & well cared for. Our cockatiel is so sweet and spent the last day flying around and exploring our house. He’s hand tame and very social. I highly recommend going here, Nadia will make sure your bird is taken care of & you can go to her for any help you need.

I have a 27 year-old blue-crowned conure in need of a safe place to board while I was away. Thank heavens I found color of birds! Nadia has a wonderful store in Norwalk. It is clean and all the birds seem very happy. She understood my baby was going to be anxious and put him in a spot where he could see the other birds and look out the window. I cannot recommend her highly enough. It’s obvious she loves what she does and loves birds. If you need somewhere to board your bird, I would not hesitate looking her up and seeing for yourself!
